Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center – Child Development Center

McCulloch England Associates Architects designed the 62,000 sf three-story, $6 million Child Development Center/School of Nursing for Presbyterian Hospital. The Child Development Center occupies the first and second floors; the School of Nursing occupies the third floor. The three-story brick building accommodates up to 420 children and utilizes the design concept of age specific “pods.” Infants and toddlers are located on the ground floor with older children on the second floor. The Child Development Center includes a large multi-purpose room that has a city streetscape theme, small activities areas, and food services.
