Novant Health Blakeney Pediatrics is a new physician office practice in the South Charlotte area. This new tenant upfit provides 16 exam rooms and a procedure room.
This clinic wanted to create their unique idea for how their clinic operated. With the discussions on their workflow an idea of a center island and surrounding support spaces came to being. This nurse station was quickly termed the ‘Kitchen’.
The nurse ‘kitchen’ in this project was the beginning of design. This main hub contains a med work area, as well as a lab and work spaces for all support staff. This core element allows for the space to be extremely open and visual to easily be made throughout the exam rooms.
